Plagiarism policy (“Getting Scooped”)
Figbox has a no tolerance plagiarism policy. If you are accused and found to have stolen the academic work of a user on Figbox, you will be banned from using our services FOR LIFE. Additionally, our “scooped team” will lobby the journal you have submitted this stolen idea to, on behalf of the user you have stolen from, in order to ask that your publication be redacted. The same applies in the case of an awarded grant/scholarship. In additional to this, if a sender believes the academic content, they are asking to be reviewed is most likely to be scooped, the sender can request that the reviewer not be allowed to send their review using the Figbox anonymous mode. This allows the user to closely monitor the identity of the reviewer and their future academic output.
You agree to indemnify Figbox and its affiliates and hold Figbox harmless against legal claims and demands that may arise from your use or misuse of our services. We reserve the right to select our own legal counsel.
Limitation on liability
Figbox is not liable for any damages that may occur to you as a result of your misuse of our website. Figbox reserves the right to edit, modify, and change this Agreement any time. We shall let our users know of these changes through electronic mail. This Agreement is an understanding between Figbox and the user, and this supersedes and replaces all prior agreements regarding the use of this website.
